I did a lot of the same when we drove to Chicago last month. Unfortunately I let my husband shop for snacks and water and he didn’t buy any healthy snacks. Needless to say the next trip I’ll shop healthier. I also disinfected our room however I did feel that the Hampton Suites we stayed at did a very nice job of following protocol to ge safe. Thanks for all the great tips

What a great post! My son recently drove home to NJ from Chicago following many of the protocols you suggest. I’m dying to get away but I’m a little nervous but your post made me rethink!

A very thorough post Robin. I think lots of us need Aggie sound advice about the realities surrounding travel right now. I live near Kansas City. Some shops have reopened yet most are still staying home.
