Fashion over 50: Black and White Date Night

Fashion over 50: Black and White Date Night
I love “date nights” with my husband. This is something we have done religiously for the past 30 years as a simple gesture of being a couple alone without our 4 children tagging along for dinner.
One of the easiest and classiest  ways to dress for a date night is simply putting on a white top with black pants.
I had a terrible time of trying to figure out what to wear because Atlanta is still having 80 degree weather, but it’s almost November!
I  decided to wear this cutout sleeve top I had purchased from Chico’s, along with this custom made necklace and earrings I had purchased at the Pink Ribbon charity event at my country club.

I  paired the top with my black faux leather pants (also a purchase from Chico’s) and my “never standing in these shoes for more than an hour” leopard print 5 inch heels. These shoes are meant from short distance walking, like from the car to the restaurant table.
What possessed me in the first place to buy 5 inch heels?

I also grabbed this pink silk floral wrap from WHBM in case I get cold in the restaurant. Restaurants are always a tad chilly, aren’t they?

So many possibilities to accessorize an outfit when you wear only black and white.

Instead of a necklace I can wear this pink silk wrap as a scarf.
