Leopard and Linen

The weather has finally warmed up in Atlanta and I am pulling out my linen jacket today for a meeting with new clients. Do you wear linen to work?

Linen may look too casual for work, but if you dress it up with a leopard print top like the one I’m wearing you won’t look casual, but look very professional and polished. I always wear pumps or slides to a business meeting because I don’t want people looking at my blue toenails.

I also tend to purchase clothes that have a blend of the materials used in the fabric. This is linen jacket is a blend of cotton and acrylic, so it won’t wrinkle. I purchase a lot of cotton acrylic blends for work and keep to natural linen for daily wear. I hate looking wrinkled as an interior designer!

Leopard print can be worn year round and I love it as a classic neutral. This monochromatic outfit will not take away from my presentation today. If I wore bright colors to this meeting the new clients may be distracted by the outfit and not be focused on my presentation. My bright colors will be worn later, but I first want to get the client to work with me. Today, I’m dressed to impress!

This outfit is also perfect to wear for a date night and I would switch out the pumps for a pair of gorgeous leopard print sandal.

I’m sharing similar clothes here with you if you like this look. This entire outfit has been restyled from my favorite items in my closet.

  1. I like your animal print blouse, and I love your jacket with this original and pretty design. The brooch with the flower is cute, and the whole outfit is harmony and elegance.

  2. Love your outfit and I’d definitely be impressed if I were your client. Unfortunately the leopard top is sold out (boo)
